RETROGUSTI is an international project born to reveal the hidden “aftertastes” in food and wine culture, exploring its roots, values and lesser-known traditions through original and captivating storytelling.

Through the details and connections that enrich the bond with food and wine, RETROGUSTI brings to light the wonderful complexity of food and wine culture, leveraging an online magazine and a network for organising thematic events.

The idea takes shape in the heart of Italy, Florence, during a mild evening with a crisp late-winter breeze in the Sant'Ambrogio area, a corner of the city full of history and everyday life. Six musketeers around a table with a glass of Bolgheri Superiore in hand, lay the foundations of a project with the ambition to reveal the hidden «aftertastes», exploring their roots, values and lesser-known traditions.
