February 16, 2024. Retrogusti is born under the sign of Aquarius, the sign of creativity, originality and the constant drive towards what is new. With a nonconformist and independent spirit, Retrogusti embodies the most distinctive traits of those born in February, giving rise to a fresh narrative of the food and wine world.
The idea takes shape in the heart of Italy, Florence, during a mild evening with a crisp late-winter breeze in the Sant'Ambrogio area, a corner of the city full of history and everyday life. Six musketeers around a table with a glass of Bolgheri Superiore in hand, lay the foundations of a project with the ambition to reveal the hidden «aftertastes», exploring their roots, values and lesser-known traditions.
