Maurizio Dematteis (1969) graduated in Political Science with a specialization in Sociology from the University of Turin. A journalist and writer, he focuses on social and environmental issues as well as topics related to alpine territories. He currently leads the Dislivelli Association and is the editorial director of the monthly web magazine Dilsivelli.eu.
